How It All Started

It started the way most good things do unexpectedly.

At 24, living in Europe with a curiosity I couldn’t quiet, I booked a solo weekend trip to Prague on a whim. I didn’t know then that one trip would turn into ten years of continuous travel across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond. 

From the medieval streets of Dubrovnik to the golden deserts of Dubai, from the ancient ruins of Petra in Jordan to the turquoise waters of the Maldives each destination taught me something new, not just about the world but about how to travel it properly.

Why We Built This

Most travel content online gives you glamorous photo and maybe a hotel name. What it doesn’t give you is the correct information that actually determines whether your trip becomes a memory you cherish or a holiday you’d rather forget. 

Wrong season, wrong airline, wrong neighbourhood, no cultural context, no real budget breakdown, improper use of tech. That’s how good trips go bad and these are the mistakes most people make.

I’ve been that frustrated traveller. I’ve made those mistakes. And I got tired of seeing travel sites repeat the same surface-level advice that sounds helpful until you’re actually out there, on your own, figuring it out the hard way.

That’s why Traveltweaks.com was built. Everything published here comes from real personal experience, every guide, every insight shared on this site is written on the basis of my past ten years of experience.

I have overcome the mistakes I talked about earlier. The experience I gained while overcoming those mistakes has made me so confident that from the past four or five years I have not planned a single trip that has gone as a failure or ended up wasting the budget. 

I have added every solution and guide for visitors. So they don’t indulge in mistakes like selecting the wrong airline, unworthy hotels , bad season, not having knowledge about the cultures and using wrong tech while planning or going on trips and proper budget breakdown .
